Although the foundation does not award scholarships to individuals, we added this page in response to many of our visitors' requests. We hope it will help you find the scholarships you are looking for. This page is being updated regularly as new scholarships and more information becomes available, so please come back often. Club of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania awarded two scholarships to
Danielle dos Santos and Diana Henriques. The funds were obtained thanks to the annual golf
tournament which raises thousands of dollars for these and other community purposes.
Danielle will be attending East Stroudsburg University and Diana Henriques plans to go to
East Pennsylvania University. Portuguese Cultural Center of Danbury, Connecticut awarded ten scholarships to high school and college

Academia do Bacalhau de New Jersey: This organization dedicated to Cod Fish, has offered scholarships to more than a dozen of High School students who were able to get better grades studying the Portuguese language while attending Portuguese Schools. The Portuguese-American Scholarship Foundation of New Jersey recently announced that it will award 10 scholarships worth at least $5000 each to high school seniors of Portuguese descent. The deadline for the submission of application materials is February 15, 2002. The American-Portuguese Engineering and Architecture Society has scholarships available. Joint Program of Scholarships for Researchers with the Luso-American Development Foundation (LADF) and the IAN/TT Torre do Tombo in Lisbon, Portugal.
